These are the people that we really want to you to support! Frequently not the big boys on the block, after all. The thing we love about Mountain biking is that the small guys can still win out. The best kit comes from companies the wider world hasn't heard of, the best shops are independents or small groups, the best guides and trips are usually small companies started by people who just love what they do. This is a list of our favourites and ones that have helped us. Please help us help them and use them.

Pure Mountains Bike Holidays
Pure Mountains run mountain biking holidays in the High Sierras in Southern Spain, and by all accounts do a pretty superb job of it!
We'll let you know as after several years of trying to get there, our resident tech head and over the hill drop miester is taking team ray gun for a trip in the spring. Watch this space for the skinny on what happens...........

OK so this is cheeky. This is our own store. And yes, we do sell components and kit and stuff and widgets, etc.....
However we also sell the growing range of MRG clothing. Slogan shirts advertising your status as a real free rider, adrenaline junkie and general good egg. As well as airing views on the fakers....

Events and exciting things to go to!
Some we've tried, some we've heard of and some we just plain wish we could have gotten to. But here are some of the things we're either thinking about or going to be at.
The Cheddar Bike Fest!
The first race the MRG ever took part in back in the day was the Cheddar challenge. Back then it was a solo lap event, with trials and mud. That first year it rained and rained and rained. It was still one of the best weekends of our lives. Then it all came to an end, and now its back as the Cheddar Bike Fest, and its brilliant. Go there, ride, race, be happy.....

The Kona Mash Up
The Kona Mash Up this year promises to be a beast of an event, mixing XC with downhil and throwing it all into one giant bubbling pot of awesomeness. It's all being run out of the Drop Off and according to our mate Scruffy he's got some pretty exciting plans for the night time too. So check it out and go have fun. But be careful you crazy cats, those rock steps bite.....
