Well after a short brake in the Outer Mongolians of Yorkshire, it is back to running ( sedately for this old guy )up & down Cwm. again.
It deffenetly felt like the last of the Summer sun. ( No one has given me The Last Of The Summer Wine, yet ).
The last rays crept through the trees at on the crest of Cwm. Soon there will be no beutifull light on the hill, or the valley. The North Face will be in the grip of of that Welsh Cold.
Any way the track was in excelent condition with only a little chilly breez.
The guys deffinetly got their moneys worth. A few spills, with most riders springing back on the bikes when noticing the camera. ( I have no idea why? )
The car park is still being worked on, plus for some unknown reason, so is the EX DROP-OFF. At the moment they have removed the wooden sleepers & are, what looks like a direct ramp from the fire road, using large bolders & fill packing. From what I can see, the ramp fineshes between the roots of the two over hanging trees.
As one of the locals said to me " It won't take long for the back brake specialiseds to rip the soil out & leave big holes there. The Drop-off as before did detere the non specialised riders.
" This countrys H & E is becoming so over zelous that people & children no longer understand what danger really is, so can not make informed decisions when in such posions " Mother of young chidren talking to the BBC.
The biggest problem in this so called Modern World is that the person in control of H & E is rairly knolegable on the activity that they make recomendations about but are well versed in all the books about H & E. Transfering logicaly & praticaly on the ground is where there is no logic.
Enough, enough he crys, lets get back to the fun side of life.

Non Bikey Photos
I am always being askrd about other subjects that I may take photos of, so for this quiet time I have put a selection up. Even while shooting at Cwmcarn I have managed to catch a few other subjects, which I left in the days shooting. Practising with you guys on the bikes has sharpened my awareness & addaptability. Drives the Misses nuts when we are out together.( Now you see me now you don't ). Unlike Bikey shots I have the luxury of time to vary light, angles & such like for the same subject on most ocasions, so you may find a few shots very simular. Different strokes for different folks!
